Interlocking joinery gives this delicate design strength around the shade, and attaches it to the frame.This lamp consists of a concrete base, eastern walnut, and bronze hardware.  The frame adjusts from 6′-7′ in height, with a  4′-5′ cantilever  from the base.Bronze braided wire follows the frame to the base.Walnut notched into a solid pour concrete base insures stability.

Local firms, designers, and students come together for an installation  based design competition. Also local and national vendors. Scheduled for February 2013.
